I'm Ellie, a certified personal trainer.
About five years ago I started working out, and quickly became obsessed with bodybuilding. I loved working out so much that I decided to make a career out of it, and got certified as a personal trainer and got my Physique and Bodybuilding Coach Certification as well, thinking I would go in that direction.
Instead, I landed a job at a hospital-affiliated fitness center, working mostly with clients recovering from surgery or injury. Two years there completely changed how I think about training. Yes, bodybuilding taught me how to build muscle. But that job taught me why the body actually works the way it does. Why a shoulder gives out, why "strong" doesn't mean "durable." I became obsessed with longevity instead of aesthetics.
Muscle is not only for bodybuilding. It serves a way bigger purpose. I coach people who want to build real muscle, without stability and mobility being an afterthought that you deal with after you're already hurt. It's built into every program from day one, because the fastest way to sideline your own progress is to ignore how your body actually moves.
If you're ready to train smart instead of just hard, you’re in the right place.
